Rich Wilson
President and Chief Operating Officer
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Wilson is responsible for consulting, project engineering, IT operations, and service delivery to CombineNet's clients. He joined CombineNet in 2003 after 20 years in aviation and transportation management, systems development, and consulting. Dr. Wilson established the Operations Research division at US Airways where he pioneered the application of optimization technology to crew scheduling, aircraft routing, and maintenance planning. Later, he led management teams at British Airways and US Airways in developing innovations in customer service and process improvements in purchasing, flight operations, and aircraft maintenance. Dr. Wilson also led transportation consulting engagements for Sabre and Oracle. Since joining CombineNet, he has led numerous advanced sourcing projects, including the largest global air freight sourcing event ever conducted. Dr. Wilson graduated with honors from Stanford University and earned M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in sociology from Yale University.

Dean F. Arnold
Vice President, North American Sales
As CombineNet's Vice President of Sales for North America, Dean Arnold brings more than 30 years of experience to the technology sector in executive leadership roles encompassing strategic sales, management, marketing, operations, and product development for major corporations including IBM and Oracle. In his early career, Mr. Arnold spent 23 years at IBM leaving as National Sales Manager, Industrial Systems, of the US Manufacturing Sector. After IBM, Mr. Arnold held several key positions at Oracle, including Vice President of Marketing, Oracle Application, before moving on to President and CEO of InfoSage. He served as Corporate Sales Director at Stargate and moved on to his most recent position at IQS as Vice President of Marketing and Channels. Mr. Arnold joined CombineNet in July of 2005 as Sales Director of the Eastern Region. He was appointed Vice President of North American Sales in August 2006.
Tobias Hannon
Managing Director of European Operations
Toby Hannon brings a successful track record in sales and business development to CombineNet's European markets. Mr. Hannon previously led the set up and growth in EMEA of a successful spend management software company - Procuri, Inc. As CombineNet’s senior executive in Europe, he is responsible for leading the company’s European sales, marketing and professional services activities. Before joining Procuri, Mr. Hannon spent 8 years with General Electric in various senior Operations and Supply Chain positions globally. Mr. Hannon is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BS degree in Finance.
Jason Brown
CTO & Vice President of Product Management
As Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Product Management, Dr. Brown is responsible for architecture and product management across the entire product portfolio. Dr. Brown received his BS in mathematics with a minor in statistics from University of California at Davis and his M.S. and Ph.D. in statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to a position as Assistant Professor of the Statistics Department at University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining CombineNet, Dr. Brown was Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer for Employer Payment Solutions, LLC (EPS), a provider of online payroll, cash management, human resources, sales force automation and Professional Employment Organization (PEO) back-office projects where he designed an application framework that contained features normally incorporated within an enterprise system. Before EPS, as CTO of Allectis.com LLC, he was lead strategist of research, design, and development for the first ever, on-line, interactive payroll application AllectisPAY. In addition, he has held various development and statistician positions at BuildNet, Inc., Persimmon IT, Inc., Applied Mathematics Inc. and SAS Institute.

John Drozdowski
Chief Financial Officer
John Drozdowski is responsible for the financial and administrative functions of CombineNet. Mr. Drozdowski joined CombineNet, Inc. from Schoolwires, Inc., a company specializing in content management software, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Over the past 29 years, he has served in varying financial capacities including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President — Finance, and Controller for several private and publicly traded companies in various service and technology industries. Mr. Drozdowski began his career with Arthur Young and Company, where he worked for nearly six years in various audit capacities across a diverse industry group. During his career, he has raised nearly $20 million in private equity and banking transactions; overseen all facets of the accounting, treasury and finance functions; led internal control reviews and performed strategic business planning. Mr. Drozdowski received his Bachelor of Science degree (Accounting) from the Pennsylvania State University.

Tuomas Sandholm
Founder & Chief Scientist
Dr. Sandholm, an entrepreneur and renowned researcher in the fields of computer science and applied mathematics, and a Professor in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University, founded CombineNet in 2000. He leads the company's R&D and guides its business strategy. He has
20 years of experience in designing and building next generation e-commerce systems and has consulted widely on e-commerce, both for established companies and startups, and has published over
350 peer-reviewed technical papers. He has been internationally recognized for his efforts as the recipient of several of the most selective academic awards in the field, including the prestigious Computers and Thought Award, presented by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), and the Sloan Research Fellowship, presented by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He has also received the National Science Foundation Career Award, and the ACM Autonomous Agents Research Award. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.S. with distinction in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. Dr. Sandholm is Fellow of the ACM and AAAI.

David Levine
Vice President of Research & Development
Dr. Levine leads CombineNet's research & development team. Dr. Levine was formerly the director of the Center for Distributed Object Computing (CDOC) at Washington University in St. Louis, leading a team of staff and student members developed cutting-edge software for real-time, high performance, and embedded systems; its ACE and TAO middleware products are used worldwide in demanding applications. Dr. Levine has extensive industry experience developing software for broadband telecommunication systems, high-fidelity electro-optic sensor system simulations, and both electric/hybrid and internal combustion engine vehicle applications. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Irvine, an M.S.E.E./C.S. from George Washington University, and a B.S.M.E. from Cornell University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia.
Subhash Suri
Co-founder & Chief Algorithms Architect
Dr. Suri, CombineNet's Chief Algorithms Architect, is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and is well-known for his research in algorithms, theory of computing, and computational geometry. Prior to joining the University of California, Dr. Suri was a research scientist at Bellcore and an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis. He has authored more than 140 research papers in the areas of computational geometry, e-commerce, approximation algorithms, network design and optimization, and has widely lectured on his research around the world. He is an editor of the journal Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications, and has been a guest editor for Discrete and Computational Geometry. He has served on numerous professional program committees and panels, both as member and chair. Dr. Suri has received one US patent and is author of several US patent applications concerning e-commerce, and his research has been supported by several grants from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Suri holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in electronics and communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. Dr. Suri is a member of ACM and a senior member of IEEE.
