Tim Dibble

Managing General Partner, Alta Communications

Tim is a founder and Managing General Partner of Alta Communications. He joined the predecessor firm Burr, Egan, Deleage & Co. in 1989 and has been leading Alta's involvement in the online and digital media sectors. In this capacity, Tim has served on numerous Boards of Directors of media companies including Telemedia Communications, Inc., W3i and Jumpstart Automotive Media. In addition to his online focus, Tim has significant investing experience and has served in a board capacity in the radio, television, cable, telecommunications and security monitoring industries. He began his career in 1986 at the Bank of Boston in the Acquisition Finance Division, structuring and monitoring the performance of management buyouts in cash flow industries. Tim received a degree in Economics from Wesleyan University. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of both Year Up (yearup.org) and The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay.

Jessica Barry-Reed

Vice President, Alta Communications

Jessica joined Alta Communications in August 2006 and focuses on investing in companies in the media and telecommunications service sectors. Prior to joining Alta, Jessica worked in investment banking at Harris Williams & Co. where she focused on mergers and acquisitions sell-side advisory for middle market companies participating in various industries, including telecommunications, building products, consumer products, and business services. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from Babson College with a concentration in finance and accounting.

Mark F. Morel

Chairman & CEO, Emergency Visions, Inc.

Mark Morel has a successful track record of starting, growing, and selling companies, with global experience developing and implementing strategic vision, creating and driving customer centered cultures, and attracting and managing great teams. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Emergency Visions (EVI), a provider of a cloud-based emergency management and response logistics solution. He previously co-founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of Whoop, Inc., a SaaS-based mobile platform company. Prior to Whoop, he co-founded, was a director, and served as the President and CEO of Procuri, Inc., the leading provider of SaaS-based supply management software and services, acquired by Ariba in 2007. Other prior posts included co-founder, director, and CAO of Just Care, Inc. (sold to The GEO Group); co-founder, director, and President of Multi-Media Data Systems, Inc. (MDS), a healthcare management software company sold to the Potomac Group; and President of Meridian VAT Reclaim, Inc., sold to PRG Schultz. Earlier, Mr. Morel held several senior-level investment banking positions, beginning his career in the investment banking group of Shearson American Express. He has served on the boards of numerous private and non-profit companies, and has been a frequent guest speaker on management and entrepreneurship topics. He has received several awards including: "Technology Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 – Spirit of Endeavor Award" for Tech America of the Southeast; Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year Industry Finalist in 2009; and was named one of the members of the "Catalyst Top 50 Entrepreneurs" list for 2005 and 2006. He holds a degree in Economics from Tulane University.

George Middlemas

General Partner, Apex Venture Partners

George Middlemas is a general partner who joined Apex in 1991 and has been involved in the venture capital industry since 1979. Prior to joining Apex, he was a senior vice president and principal with Inco Venture Capital Management and a vice president and member of the investment committee with Citicorp Venture Capital. He was instrumental in the founding of America Online and Security Dynamics Technologies, Inc. (RSA Security). George received an MBA from Harvard University, an MA from the University of Pittsburgh, and BA degrees from the Pennsylvania State University. He also serves on the Library Development Board of the Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Richard Wilson

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wilson is responsible for product strategy and direction, engineering, IT operations, and customer support and service delivery to CombineNet's global clients. He joined CombineNet in 2003 after 20 years in aviation and transportation management, systems development, and consulting. Dr. Wilson established the Operations Research division at US Airways where he pioneered the application of optimization technology to crew scheduling, aircraft routing, and maintenance planning. Later, he led management teams at British Airways and US Airways in developing innovations in customer service and process improvements in purchasing, flight operations, and aircraft maintenance. Dr. Wilson also led transportation consulting engagements for Sabre and Oracle. Since joining CombineNet, he has led numerous advanced sourcing projects, including the largest global air freight sourcing event ever conducted. Dr. Wilson graduated with honors from Stanford University and earned M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in sociology from Yale University.
