Project Software Engineer

Software engineering at CombineNet is a demanding career with many short and long term rewards. As a member of the project engineering team you will be responsible for the configuration and customization of Client optimization events using CombineNet technologies. This includes programming (primarily in Perl), database development, data preparation, client support, and troubleshooting. In this position, you will work closely with Project Managers, Product Engineers, and other Project Engineers to model optimization problems, to design and develop custom data collection and reporting features. If you are a deadline-driven, task oriented engineer we would like to hear from you.

Skill set needed:

  • Related education (CS, OR, Math)
  • Strong programming experience
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadline-heavy projects
