CombineNet is seeking to hire experienced Project Managers with a background in transportation, consulting, software development, professional services delivery, sourcing and optimization.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a client interfacing project management capacity with several clients, preferably Fortune 500 companies. Focus in at least one of the following areas is required: Purchasing, sourcing, supply chain management, transportation, production planning, inventory management, and/or optimization. Transportation and supply chain management experience is especially relevant.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Estimation of work effort for projects and composition of Statements of Work
• Ability to model problems and formulate problem space and solution approach
• Management of software engineers and data specialists to ensure delivery of solutions to clients
• Management of project timelines, issue resolution, change management, training and client support
• Balancing multiple project demands simultaneously
• Assuring proper billing of client for professional services rendered
• Assisting Sales Team with business development
• Demonstration of software to potential and/or current clients

Skill set required:

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
• MBA preferred, additional relevant experience otherwise
• Strong analytical skills and strong skills in data/problem modeling
• Ability to learn quickly
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Solid problem solving capabilities
• Comfort with fast-paced, deadline-intensive projects
• Facility with project management tools, i.e. MS Project, essential
• Flexible travel schedule
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to research reported issues and manage through identification and resolution
• Ability/Interest in doing whatever it takes to make the client/project/company successful
• Ability to filter all client/project information to develop project specifications and requirements
