CombineNet Business Analysts are members of the Professional Services team, which is responsible for providing requirements, gathering, planning, training, support, and project management for client events. Business Analysts provide critical support for Project Managers during the delivery of client events and are integrally involved with internal process improvement initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of configured and custom software for clients by working with Project Managers and various internal teams including engineering and quality assurance
- Assist with configuration of CombineNet’s software tools to meet specific customer requirements
- Support multiple projects for key customers
- Build outstanding customer relationships with our clients and their suppliers
- Develop detailed knowledge of CombineNet’s sourcing tools and work with Project Managers to configure the application to meet specific client needs
- Coordinate and deliver supplier training for client events
- Provide second tier support for supplier and client issues that require detailed project knowledge
- Provide support for client team members during bid analysis, including interpretation of reports and allocation results
- Work with members of the Professional Service team and other internal departments to identify, document, and implement processes that will improve operational effectiveness
- Assist in efforts to define enhancements and set priorities for new product releases and services
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven ability to respond to customer needs and build relationships
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet project requirements and quickly handle client issues
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly in written and verbal communications to CombineNet’s clients and their suppliers
- Strong data analysis skills using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Access
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks in an environment that requires multi-tasking
- Willingness to take the initiative and a leadership role in addressing client problems and improving team efficiency
- Ability to follow through and execute on assignments in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
- A self-starter and quick learner
- Creative, detail-oriented, energetic
Education/Training Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or Economics
- 1 – 3 years of work experience in one of the following areas: procurement, supply chain, project management, or customer service in a technical environment
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (U.S.)
