CombineNet Opens New European Headquarters
Veteran Sourcing Executives Head up Berlin-Based Subsidiary
PITTSBURGH, PA—August 19, 2004
CombineNet announced today it has opened a new European headquarters in Berlin.
The new location gives the company expanded presence in Western Europe and introduces
two seasoned sourcing managers, Thomas Andrae, the new Vice President and Managing
Director for CombineNet's European operations, and Armin Scharlach, Vice President
of Professional Services for Europe.

Under Andrae's direction, the new office will support an expanding European customer

Andrae and Scharlach both bring a wealth of sales and consulting experience to CombineNet.
Both executives have management experience from Emptoris, Ariba and PricewaterhouseCoopers
in Europe, with Andrae also working in Telecom and Government services for Andersen
Consulting.
